We have a tradition of having a big brunch on Christmas Day. That gives everyone time to do the Santa thing and then get over to my home for a meal. One of our favorite brunch dishes is a Holiday Brunch Casserole featuring sausage and eggs.
One thing I especially love about the Brunch Casserole is that it can be made the night before and popped in the oven the next day. The brunch dish can, of course, be mixed up on Christmas morning, but it’s nice to have that done and then just enjoy being with the boys on the holiday morning.
This make ahead (or not) casserole is nice for any holiday with an early or mid morning meal, and I also enjoy making this recipe on weekends from time to time as well. It really works out great for someone who is definitely not a morning person.

I’ve never enjoyed meal preparation, but I love to eat and I love good food (as long as someone else is fixing it). When it comes time for lunch, I usually make the simplest and easiest sandwich: peanut butter and jelly. I think part of the problem is that I am busy and don’t always want to take the time to make a traditional lunch.

Any day can be Mother’s Day if you start off with a special breakfast made from scratch and surprise the special lady in your life. The meal can be super simple or gourmet. This is a case where it is the thought that counts, especially if you also think to clean up afterwards instead of leaving a mess for Mom.

Perhaps you’ve always thought making your own jam would be too difficult. Some recipes are a bit complex, but this strawberry jam recipe is super easy and quick. Also, it does not require a home canner.

Who has time to whip up a traditional old-fashioned breakfast?
Ok. The silence is deafening.
On-the-go families may be lucky to get fruit, cereal, or breakfast bars down along with making sure outfits match and everyone has on shoes.
