While many college students are preparing for summer pool parties and weekend trips to the lake, soon-to-be grads are preparing for the workforce.

Now is the time of year when the weather is terribly unpredictable.  It can be in the 40’s when your children leave for school and in the 60’s by the time you pick them up.  This can make dressing them each morning a bit of a challenge.  To make matters worse, it’s generally so warm in the schools that your children probably break a sweat just sitting at their desks.  So, how do you dress your child for this finicky weather?

So, you’re looking to update your fall wardrobe but don’t want to invest in a lot of new pieces.  One of the easiest ways to extend the life of some of your summer clothing is to add a pair of fabulous boots. 

You can take a summer dress, add tights, a cardigan and boots and suddenly it’s a beautiful fall outfit.  Or, perhaps you have an embellished tank top that you love.  Paired with jeans, boots and a fun wrap it’s still appropriate for fall.

Fall is my absolute favorite season when it comes to fashion.  I love the boots, the layering and all of the accessories.  Most of us could probably go wild purchasing new fall clothing.  In reality though, we need to pick and choose pieces that fit into our budget.
