Real or Artificial Christmas Tree, Which Do You Prefer?
I grew up out in the country, and we always had a real Christmas tree. It was our family tradition to go out in the woods and find the perfect tree. Well, honestly, it was more tradition that Dad always picked one too big and then lopped off the top, meaning we had some gosh ugly Christmas trees over the years. When I moved to the city to an apartment, I shifted to an artificial Christmas tree. There were some real trees for sale, but they were very expensive. Also, I was concerned about carpet damage and perhaps losing my security deposit. We make decisions for various reasons. Those were mine.
Now, I’m back in my home town. I could easily go back to a real Christmas tree and have considered it. Going to the woods or even the tree lot is fun. Real trees are very pretty, and they smell terrific.
