I finally cut the cord. I bought and installed a wireless router. Yes I did. While it took a while to get the router set up, it was definitely worth the effort. My sons, family, and friends can all pick up the signal in the house and can surf without paying extra fees or waiting in line for the desktop computer.

Our world is filled with gadgets that promise to make our lives easier and more productive.  Actually, I think that many of us spend so much time trying to figure out how to use these gadgets that it would have been easier to accomplish some of these tasks the simple, old fashion way.  However, there are a few gadgets that I simply love and am not sure I want to live without.

I have an iPhone, and I love it.  The week I left my full time job of 15 years, the most exciting thing I did was shut off my corporate blackberry and switch over to the iphone so I could finally have a “fun” phone.
