How often do you find yourself passing your iPhone to your child in an attempt to appease him while you are waiting in a line or trying to get something done? It’s amazing how technologically adept children are, so it’s likely your child is capable of playing just about any game that you have downloaded to your phone. One of the relatives came halfway across the country to visit and then spent the entire time on her cell phone texting. I finally cut the cord. I bought and installed a wireless router. Yes I did. While it took a while to get the router set up, it was definitely worth the effort. My sons, family, and friends can all pick up the signal in the house and can surf without paying extra fees or waiting in line for the desktop computer.

Our world is filled with gadgets that promise to make our lives easier and more productive.  Actually, I think that many of us spend so much time trying to figure out how to use these gadgets that it would have been easier to accomplish some of these tasks the simple, old fashion way.  However, there are a few gadgets that I simply love and am not sure I want to live without.

I have an iPhone, and I love it.  The week I left my full time job of 15 years, the most exciting thing I did was shut off my corporate blackberry and switch over to the iphone so I could finally have a “fun” phone.

Digital cameras are wonderful, but showing off your shots can be a challenge. Getting a digital photo frame can make it much more fun to show off your latest vacation pictures or shots from a special family event.
