Great Craftsman drill! Lightweight design makes it easy to use. Noise is low compared to other drills I've used. Many drills I've used have a "burning" smell, but this does not. Can be used for small precise drilling or gettin down to the nitty gritty. Definitely recommend for home owner or professional use. Also, at a price below $50, this drill is a steal.

Craftsman 3/8 in. Corded Drill is a very good drill for the money. Had no problems with it and it still works great. It is not only ideal for larger projects but for those little ones that I tried using the cordless drills on only to find out they give out before I'm done.

Picked up this drill on sale and turned out to be an excelent buy. It has a lot more guts than my cordless 18 volt drill and of course lasts a lot longer since it is corded. I also like the keyless chuck, it makes for switching out drill bits a snap. I also like that it lights up when its hot.

I got this power drill a few months back, and have been very impressed. It's got enough power to get your home improvement projects done and done right. Overall, you get a great tool, at a good value.

As drills go, I have had several in the past. Biggest problem is usually the motor burning up. This 5.0 amp motor has so far been very strong. I have put a heavy load on the drill down by drilling through concrete, and it didn't burn the motor up like I did with my previous Black & Decker. It feels good in the hand and isn't front heavy. I am partial to corded drills, (but also own a cordless for when there is absolutely no chance of finding electricity). I would rather use long extension cords and always have power than having to rely on two batteries to make it through a project. This drill does everything I need it to do !

My Craftsman 3/8 in. Corded Drill was a great buy. What can you say, for the money this drill is great. Nice features like, trigger switch with lock-on button, keyless chuck, 2 built-in levels. I use this drill more than any of my others including my cordless! 5.0 amp motor gets the job done. Quality construction, has a good feel/balance to it. If this one ever fails I will definitely buy another one just like it. Get one, you will not be disappointed. I am extremely pleased with all of my Craftsman tools purchases so far.

For the money and its not alot this drill is outstanding you would not be dissappointed one bit with this drill. If you need a cheap drill but not made cheap this is it.

Has been great. One use was to hang garage shelves. At some points there were metal brackets over the studs I was drilling, and this drill tore through 'em like a champ. Has retired my cordless drill unless there is no electricity around.
