especially if space is an issue in your kitchen! Originally I wanted a conventional refrigerator/freezer with french doors and the freezer on the bottom, but space was an issue for our galley kitchen. I now not only have 19 cu feet of refrigerator space but it's also almost counter depth if not already! We purchased a 5.1 cu feet freezer that we put in our storage area and it works out fine. We don't go to the freezer that often so it's not really inconvenient. We ended up spending much less than if we were to go the conventional way, and we got more room without sacrificing space! Be warned though, only the DOOR is stainless! The sides are grey which I wasn't expecting, but it's not all that bad. At least you can stick magnets on both the door and the sides! I bought this online so there weren't any side views of it. The door has a very strong seal and takes a little muscle opening which is a good thing! No air is leaking out! When you open the door the light turns on gradually and there's an alert for when the door is left ajar or a power failure. There's a carbon filter to keep your fridge smelling fresh - they recommend replacement of filter every 6 months. You can adjust the digital themometer incrementally and it displays the temperature so you know your food is safe. Only negative is that the fruit/vegetable bin is all in one long drawer with dividers and you can't control the humidity for both, just the whole drawer. We've had this for a week and so far so good! Love the amount of space on the inside!
