GE 22.0 cu. ft. French-Door Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator

This unit has good and bad features. First the good., The unit is preset & does an excellent job of keeping the refrig. and freezer at just the right temperatures. The split doors allow you to enter either side saving energy and easy access to just what you want. The bad....The pull out freezer drawer makes it difficult to locate the item you want ,. It also limits the amount of actual frreezer space you can use. You lose the capacity to store much food in it, The ice maker bin is difficult to open and reach it's contents .It doesn't allow you to use more than one ice cube maker tray. f

I miss the slide out rack for soda cans/beer and there's no really intuitive place to put them. There was no egg box in this one, but I saved my old one :) I love the ice maker, it WORKS, which the old one never did properly. I like it that there is no ice-maker/water dispenser on the door, it makes it look so much cleaner. Love having the full width of the fridge, room for large platters. Produce bins are too big; snack box is too small; no dedicated meat drawer? This is based only on my personal usage, most people would love it as it is. Lots of storage in good sizes, for everything else.

I got this fridge once I moved into my new place and I must say that I am really impressed. I like the style, its very roomy, and it works great. I ordered this fridge online and recieved it in about 5 days. The guys who delivered it came and set it up for me with no problem. They had to take the doors off to get it in the house, but other than that, I really like it.

Love this model! Fits our existing footprint of our older unit while upgrading our kitchen to the latest new look. Split shelves and adjustable door shelves make it flexible for any set up. Great price.

We found ourselves having to replace our Kitchenaid appliance unexpectedly. We did a lot of research and decided to try the GE. So far, it has worked out really well. I did give it a 4 instead of 5 due to the drawers. Could glide a bit smoother and meat drawer could be a little larger. All and all, we are satisfied and I really enjoy the ease of the French Door style and love having the freezer on the bottom. I would recommend this appliance.

This was the perfect size for my condo and price was just what I needed.

This fridge looks high end and I can't believe how big it is. Looks nice but it is hard to keep clean with shiny black finish. This is primarily an issue if you have children getting fingerprints everywhere but still way better than stainless. I was skeptical of freezer on the bottom but it fits a ton of stuff for how small the basket looks. Love it so far!

This is a large, but not too large well planned refrigerator. There is space for everything, with easy access to the things you need. It's designed so you can see and easily get what you need, keeping healthy things easily visible.

With no ice/water in the door, the doors held almost everything our old standard fridge held in the door, plus a gallon of milk. The rest of the fridge is more space than the old top freezer that fit in the same size spot. We had to swap the top and center shelves from default so my 5'3" wife could see into the deli drawer. The full width shelf on top gives enough room for beer on one side and 2liters and pitchers on the other side of the temp controls. Some space for some larger short things in the middle (pickles/mayo) Bottom freezer seems a bit smaller than the old top freezer, and organizing is a little tougher, but it does a good job of freezing and overall the french doors are worth the tradeoff.

This is a great refrigerator for us because of how spacious it is. I can put a large, prepared party platter inside the fridge because the freezer is on the bottom, but it also works out in other ways: pizza boxes, large casserole dishes, etc. The freezer at the bottom makes a lot of sense, since we don't get in there as often. The only down side I can think of is that it doesn't have an ice and filtered water dispenser on the outside of the unit, but that wasn't important to us, so it was fine.
