bought this for my sons birthday. we plugged it into the usb to charge it. unit was fully charged. slid the power button to on and it doesn't turn on. only way it turned on was when it was plugged into the computer. took back to the store to find a different mp3 player. would not suggest buying this.

Bought in the store and after powering and transferring my music, it wouldn't turn on. Took it back. Then bought off the internet, not realizing it was the same product. Same thing happened -- it won't power on. It is also made with cheap plastic. Don't waste your money on this item.

Returned this within 24 hours. It seemed ok at first: I loaded music on it and it played fine. But it wouldn't turn on unless it was connected to the pc. And then, it wouldn't stay on for more than about 5 minutes. And to top it off, when I tried to load music from iTunes, the files were showing on the pc window, but they never showed up on the player at all. NOT GOOD.
