The features provided make for a good entertainment package. Some technical aspects to consider though: When playing MP3's the video screen stays on, you may want to lower the contrast and picture settings low enough so that you can navigate with the remote (option) and see what you are doing. One some what troubling thing I discovered is when you use pause during DVD playback, and then resume playback, the audio and video are not in sync. This does not happen all the time but when it does, the only thing you can do is to reload the DVD. One more thing, the remote is slim and sleek but requires direct, deliberate and upclose operation to control this machine. A little tedious. Sound quality is average. This box is best suited for office or desk, small bedrooms or when traveling by plane, train or car, small picnics or camping but not for patio parties & barbecues, if you like it a little louder for entertaining, it will sound distorted. Overall - good features, slim look. Takes 8 D batteries (option). A bit overpriced. However, there isn't many competitors selling this type of product. I got it for $99.00 at Sears. If it's ever advertised at $75.00 in a Sunday paper it will become a HOT item and get a 4 star rating. Thanks

My son saved up his grass cutting money to buy this item. He takes it everywhere with him! We are really happy with the quality. The ability to watch movies, listen to music, play his mp3 player, show off pictures saved to a CD is a wonderful combination! Great for camping! We haven't used the karoke part yet but are looking forward to that, also! A big hit with the kids when they camp out in the back yard! A great buy!
