The Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker is family sized and has a capacity of 4 quarts which translates to a 4 lb. chicken or roast or even ribs. It features a temperature control with high, low and keep warm. The keep warm will maintain the temperature but not overcook your meal if dinner needs to be delayed. The stoneware crock is removable and dishwasher safe as is the tempered glass lid. Recipes are included or you can create your own.

I just bought this supposedly "4 qt" slow cooker today. I will be taking it back tomorrow. When I pulled it out of the box it loked small to me, so I got a measuring cup and began pouring water into the pot. Four quarts? It barely holds three quarts. The box clearly says "4 quart capacity." Maybe the cooker without the crockery liner will hold 4 quarts, but who would use this product that way?
