I got this blender last week based on the positive reviews on Good Housekeeping and now I'm wondering who Hamilton Beach paid off at the magazine. This is a gimmicky blender with small blades that cannot blend or even reach some of the stuff that is higher up in the pile. You have to shake up the jar to get all the stuff inside in contact with the blades otherwise it will not blend!

I got this blender after starting a new diet where I drink two protein shakes a day, and I absolutely love it! It was easy to put together, and it is very east to take apart and clean. I love the dispenser because I can cheat and make my breakfast and lunch shakes to take to work at the same time and use the dispenser to slit it in half perfectly!

This blender is an excellent buy for the price. I use this to make smoothies and crused ice drinks. It actually mixs the contents around with a wave motion so you don't have to stir up the ingredients with a spoon. Most of all, it crushes ice and is durable. I love the fact that it has a pourable spout for convience.
