Kenmore 27'' Electric Self-Clean Single Wall Oven

This oven has nice clean trim, no element shows, but it is not deep, and it is a little slow to warm to temperature.

This would be a great addition to my kitchen even if I never cooked with it. Gorgeous. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. Seems to heat accurately, though I haven't measured it.

Purchased an entire kitchen from Sears and unfortunately this wall oven was one of just a few options to fit the existing cabinet space. Had never purchased Kenmore appliances in the past, and never will again in the future. After the very 1st self cleaning cycle the fan makes a horrible noise. I imagine that something warped with the heat of the self cleaning. Now, of course since we were at fault I guess for not running the self cleaning option inside of the 12 month warranty, we will get stuck with a bill for fixing this piece... Buy something else, spend more money if you need to. Even before the horrible noise that exists after self cleaning, the fan still made a lot more noise than I think it should have. And as you can imagine, the response from Sears is "you are outside of the manufacturer's warranty" so you are on your own.

Ive only owned this oven for 2 weeks and I really like it. Bakes beautifully...I hope my racks don't collapse like one reviewer said. Visually pleasing. I only buy my appliances at Sears! Buy the master protection plan. It is the greatest warranty I have ever seen ever. Its cheap and continuously renewable and the service is fantastic. I have it on my dishwasher, hot water heater, fridge and oven. Repair person will come to home no charge for parts or labor. If it can't be fixed they replace it for free and its still covered under the warranty. I have had master protection for many years now. So worth every penny! I tell every one.

Basic self-clean oven that does everything I need. Seems to be accurate at maintaining temperature and controls are easy to use.

It cooks evenly, although it takes a while to preheat. The racks are a little small but a full size cookie sheet will still fit on each one and even when there's something on both racks they both cook evenly. I think this is because the racks have a few inches between the end of the rack and the back of the oven which allows air to circulate around the items being baked. The fan seems to run for a while after it's been turned off in order to cool the oven down. Overall I'm happy with it. It does what it's intended to do, which is bake and I think for the price and the fact that it's a wall oven it does an adequate job. It's pretty basic, but has a lot of options such as delayed bake and timed bake where you can set it to either come on, turn off, or both at whatever time you choose.

I am a long time Kenmore fan, however, my oven of this type has racks that collapse and fall under norml load, presumably due to warping of the side walls under heat and use. Sears has failed to address my concerns in my contacts with them

My parents purchased this oven for their newly remodeled kitchen and it has been one problem after another.  The audible preheat signal sounds 50 to 100 degrees before the oven reaches the set temperature.  The oven's temperature varies incredibly. It takes at least 45 minutes to reach a steady temperature(not even the set temp.) and baking times are outrageously long.  In 4 months, my mother had 4 service calls.  One technician made her feel completely stupid.  Finally, Sears replaced the oven.  The awful thing about this is that this oven is no better!  Save your time and money by purchasing a different brand oven from somewhere that you won't have to deal with Sears.

The oven is wonderful. The controls are amazingly easy to use, but I did read the instructions as the installers suggusted. The fan cools the unit after it's use. It heats very quickly for proper cooking. It is very attractive, especially since my search was limited to the color bisque.
