Bought this set for a 12 year old and he has not put it down since opening it. From the minifigures to the ship itself, this product perfectly represents the Star Wars brand. It seems somewhat expensive in price, but the amount of playtime it has received trumps all.

LegoŽ has done it again with their amazing representation of the Star Wars? TIE Fighter. Each set includes instructions that are a breeze to follow and 3 pre-sorted bags of parts for easy assembly. I was a joy to build this and was accomplished in less then 40 minutes for the moderate builder! After finishing the build, I found the TIE Fighter to be a good size. It measures 9"x6.5"x8" when completed. I also came with 4 LegoŽ figures which include TIE Fighter Pilot, Death Star Trooper, Imperial Officer, and the Droid R5-J2. I would recommend this to all the LegoŽ enthusiasts! One way to make this build even better is to pair the TIE Fighter #9492 up with the X-Wing Fighter #9493, which I did! Find them both at www.kmart.com!
