Thank you so much for the other reviews! I brought this tent yesterday, August 5th, 2012 and I took it back this afternoon after setting it up. It took me about an hour to put up by myself, and I was very displeased with the quality and the fittings. The directions are written so tiny you about need a magnifing glass to read them. The rain fly did NOT fit so I didn't try to force it since I read another review where they stated it had ripped in the corner. The color coded pole attachments do not stay "clicked" in place and the tub floor does not extend to the screened porch area which was the big selling point of this tent....not taking another canopy with us. Since we camp on Lake Keowee in South Carolina, the afternoon thunderstorms can be brutal and fierce! The only saving grace was the two young girls at the return desk at my local Kmart did not give me any trouble returning this tent. They were both very polite and sorry it did not work! Then I went to ****** and purchased a Coleman tent which was smaller but also cheaper and advertised a quick set up and rain resistant. I know that no tent can provide 100% protection but for $260 plus dollars, I expect everything to work and fit properly. I did take my time reading and rereading the directions and didn't force anything into place so I expect better quality. Hope the Coleman works better as I don't want to spend my camping time setting up a tent that made me want to file for divorce against myself....thank God hubby was at work! Don't buy.....looks good which really upset me that it didn't work out...love the concept by quality is lacking!

Awesome tent. Stood through severe thunderstorms with winds up to 70 mph & no problems. I put on seam sealer the day before the storm and NO LEAKS. There are strategically placed little drain holes in the rainfly which successfully prevented the roof from collapsing into the tent!-- genius. Let the rainfly warm up and stretch out a full day before I eventually was able to tug it over the last corner. Super tight fit but absolutely not impossible. Front porch area was perfect spot to keep items out of the elements (sun, rain, bugs, critters, etc). The detachable floor for the front porch is fine. I appreciate that the floor is optional but it moved around a lot and was always misaligned with the tent structure. Should have at least had a zipper to connect the floor or velcro or just something that would unify the optional floor with the tent. From what I can tell online, this is becoming a rare tent. Fantastic value. Looking forward to many more (hopefully thunderstorm-less) trips!!!!!

This tent is very big! Some people have said that it is hard to put up. Maybe the first time it is after that I was able to do it by my self. Also some people said that it did not stand up to a little wind. Well we were in Eastern Washington camping at Banks Lake and we had five thunderstorms come though in two day and had 60+ mph winds and this tent was moving around but did not tear or bend any of the polls! It was still standing after all that. So if you need a big tent and don't mind taking some time to put it up correctly this is a great tent.

This has got to be the worst tent I have ever ever ever bought. We had very slight wind which is usual in Colorado, and the wind gets worse as the summer comes arounds. The VERY 1st trip, the windy was may 10MPH with gusts to 20-30 and the tent collapsed, spun around within itself, twisted all the bars, tore all the flaps, and was DESTROYED! What a waste of $$. $250.00 GONE! Wow... Thatnks Northwest Terr. We wont be buying your crap again!

It was a tad difficult to understand the directions to put it all up the first time but now that we've done it it's not so bad. I would also suggest putting the rain fly on before the legs are on as well, it is very tall and it's hard to get on once it's all up.

Love this tent. It has some problems, but nothing that can not be worked out. The major complaint I have is I needed a new pole support that are made out of plastic. The two numbers they give in the manual are the parts house. They are out of buissness. I was told I am SOL.

I got this tent and the first time is somewhat confusing as to set up but if you take your time, it isnt that hard to figure out. I've set this tent up several times now and two people are almost a must if there is any wind. Once up and properly staked, it is sturdy. I was in 30-35 mile/hour winds all day, and the tent held up. It is big and not designed for high wind conditions. The porch is neat and there is good ventilation with the windows down. The service at Northpole USA is great. Kellie was so helpful and sent a new rainfly immediately as the one I received had a missing grommet and a cracked hub which was also replaced. If you want lots of room and a good bang for your buck, I recommend this tent. Seam seal is highly suggested.

I have owned this tent for over a year now and have used it several times. This tent is big, I would not agree that it sleeps 10 however 4-6 people can sleep on air mattress comfortably can fit 2 queen mattress even 3. The "roof" is tight, but if you follow directions to the T then everything goes together nicely. Folded correctly the tent with poles and all go back in the bag with no problem.

first of all the tent was very difficult to set up needs multiple people and the poles were very flimsy and kept coming apart. the first night after the tent was set up we had a storm not very big and the next mornign one of the pole attachments were completly busted the detachable floor kept coming loose and off making it a tripping hazard for our 1 year old and 3 year old and the step into the tent was also a hazard. the tent leaked in multiple different spots including the ceiling and the windows and upon taking down the tent and repackaging the tent another attachment broke and the bag seem is already spliting and coming apart. i do not recomend this tent i will be returning it.
