this is an excellent first fishing rod anyone can own. this fishing rod is amazing. its increadably easy for anyone to use. wich comes in handy. and its pretty strong for fishing on lakes rivers and laguns. hope you guys like it.

This rod is really as tough as they say it is since I have dropped it and used it to haul in 7+lb peacock bass that would break a normal ultralight rod. The action on the reel is smooth and problem free and the only gripe that I have would be about the line that's included on the reel since it tends to get kinks in it more frequently than others that I use and will birdnest if you don't watch out. You can always change out the line easily enough though so that's not much of an issue if you're not lazy like me. Other than that this is an outstanding rod and reel combo.
