Purchased 08/26/10 and was very easy to set up. Plugged the HDMI cable in, set the input setting to the correct setting and the DVD player set itself. Highly rated sharp Blu-ray. Works vary well with my new 52" Aquas TV. The remote works perfect in the operation of the DVD player.
Have watched various blu-rays on this player and was very happy with the HD quality. However, it takes a long time to load the movie, and will sometimes not eject the movie until it is loaded and then stopped. A little frustrated. Going to take it back today because a DVD-R was playing and then the audio cut out in the same spot two times. The DVD-R played fine on a good ole fashion DVD player. Hopefully this is just a lemon. Love the look and the HD quality when player finally loads.

I bought this when a store had them on clearance for $99. It was very easy to set up and it has a great picture. But it is EXTREMELY SLOW responding to button presses, both on the remote and the front panel. It requires TWO button presses to Open or Close the door flap. Very frustrating! Sometimes it hangs up, then I have to unplug the player from the electrical outlet, wait a short while, and plug it in again. I'm trashing this unit soon and buying another brand.

I got this player for a great deal at Sears. It looks great and integrates well with my Sharp Aquos LCD. However I have noticed it hanging up twice now. Only have had it two weeks, but have had to literally disconnect the power cord twice. Both times have been while streaming movies from Netflix. The interface is nicely designed and it's a good machine. Just hope the hang ups I've experienced will be the exception...and not the rule.

The name says it all! It plays blu ray, mp3, and it plays backs movies. Its great for all in one. I have had no problems with it and i ma loving it so far. The color is black but it matches everything i have. recommended for everyone who is looking for all in one deal!

Love It! This has taken watching movies at home to a totally different level. The blue ray player was so simple to hook up to my TV. Plug and play for a great picture and sound. DVD's look so much better too. Quality of the picture, price of player , and ease of use make this the perfect addition to any home theater.
