We bought this sump pump when our basement was unexpectedly flooded and we have been happy with it's performance so far. It helped us to get from a big, overwhelming mess to a mostly dry basement in about a day or so. This pump was the last one in stock, probably because our area was experience very heavy rainfall and probably wet basements as well, so I thought from the beginning that it must be good because it seemed to be a popular choice.
One of the best things about this pump was the easy setup. However, you will still need to buy a check valve to hook this pump up to a discharge hose. Be sure to pick this up before heading home because it will just make you more frustrated once you find out you don't have all of the parts that you need. We would purchase this pump again if we were in need of another one for the other sump in our home. Nobody likes to deal with flooding but we are glad that Sears had this pump available at an affordable price when we needed it.

this is the best pump i have bought. I have bought 6 pumps in the last 10 years and this is by far the superior product. the amount of water it pumps out is amazing in the little amount of time i checked it. It is very quiet even when you are right next to it
