And sensors automatically measure moisture and temperature levels and stops the cycle when the load is dry to reduce over-drying.
Once the load is dry, this Whirlpool 7.4 cubic-foot-capacity clothes dryer intermittently tumbles the load for up to 150 minutes to help prevent wrinkles from setting in.

I bought this as a pair with the washer to replace my other Whirlpool washer and dryer that were over 12 years old and still funtioning. Do not care for the washer as much as I had hoped and realize the dryer is also computer based and offers more to go wrong. Bought too high tech this time around. This one was also 4" deeper than my old dryer and I had to modify the laundry room area in a less than desirable manner.

we used to have a top-of-the line- Cabrio washer and dryer and loved it and had to leave it behind when we moved back from FL to NH. Bought the mid-line washer and dryer. Not as many bells and whistles, but it still a good value.

THIS PRODUCT HAS LIVED UP TO THE WHIRLPOOL NAME. MY WIFE AND I HAD A SET OF A WHIRLPOOL WASHER AND DRYER THAT HAD LASTED US 12 YEARS. A STORE IN OUR CITY WAS HAVING A HUGE SALE ON THESE PRODUCTS ON THIS PAST BLACK FRIDAY. WE COULD NOT PASS THIS UP. THE OLD SET WAS STILL GOING AND WORKING FINE. WE JUST WANTED TO GET THE NEW SET AND UPDATE WITH THE NEW TECHNO SET. WE LOVE THE SET. THEY ARE EASY TO USE AND ARE VERY ENERGY EFF. there's a cycle for every need. even wrinkled clothed come out smooth and freah with the steam setting. both the washer and dryer are so quiet i am barely aware they are running. it's capable of drying the big and heavy loads of wash i do such as jeans and blankets. not all dryers can handle the big loads of heavy wet jeans and overalls but this one does, perfectly.
